This is the CSEP logo. Dark blue represents EDUCATION. The orange stands for CREATIVITY. The five points of the star represent the FIVE FACETS of the original program, and the movement in the star shows YOUTHFULNESS. If your school becomes a CSEP school, you will have use of the logo, free of charge, of course!

What exactly do CSEP'ers do?

It all started with a small idea from two middle school students.  After they approached their science teacher, it turned into a medium sized idea. And, after much discussion and planning, that medium sized idea turned into a REALLY BIG IDEA.

thunderstorms and tornadoes, Oh my!

Ask anyone “What is a thunderstorm?” and you will usually get the answer, “a storm that has thunder and lightning.” For most of us, that’s all we think we need to know. However, it helps to...

Q: Why should your school or organization join CSEP?

A: Because CSEP was created and founded by middle school students. It’s not your usual science organization or science education group. Although CSEP stands for Citizen Science Education Program, we also like to think about it as the Clubhouse for Scientists (Jr.) of Extraordinary Potential. In CSEP, students empower other students. Students energize adults.  Students make a difference! Plus, it’s free and fun!!           Learn More Here...
